PXR honored to have advised on the formation of Bauhaus der Erde
PXR has advised on the formation of Bauhaus der Erde, a public-private non-profit organization founded by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Hans Joachim Schellnhuber and Marc Weissgerber. The launch of the “Bauhaus der Erde” was officially announced on April 21, 2021. Together with Prof. Dr. Dirk Messner, Prof. Dr. Annette Hillebrandt and 20 leading experts and with funding from Laudes Foudation, the initiative was founded to catalyse a movement to sustainably transform the built environment.

Its purpose is to transform the way of constructing and maintaining the built environment so that the human species may live in dignity and harmony with the Earth’s natural systems. Hans Joachim Schellnhuber (founder and director emeritus of the Potsdam Institute of Climate Impact Research - PIK) and Marc Weissgerber (former managing director and CFO of Veolia Germany and EU’s climate innovation network Climate-KIC).
