hexafarms has raised €4.8 million in seed financing to advance its AI-powered crop intelligence platform and accelerate commercial growth. The round was led by Ananda Impact Ventures and Green Generation Fund, with participation from Grey Silo Ventures and better ventures, alongside existing backers Speedinvest, Mudcake and Techstars. PXR advised hexafarms on the transaction.

hexafarms is building an operating system for commercial horticulture, combining proprietary hardware with AI-powered crop intelligence software. Its technology brings together wireless crop sensing, yield forecasting and automated pest and disease detection to help growers make better decisions and reduce yield losses.
